<div>Colima, Mexico, faces devastating violence, ranked as the world’s most dangerous city in 2023 and 2024 outside active war zones. At the Laboratorio por la Paz y Justicia Social (LAPSO), we are closing the gap between research, community action, and tangible solutions to address this crisis.

<div>Through initiatives like the Citizen Observatory for Peace, which uses big data to map crime and mobilize communities, and Agencia, which empowers youth to become leaders of social change, LAPSO is fostering community driven solutions to violence, harnessing science for collective action to restore peace.
