Support La Luna

Donation protected
Since the lockdown started on March 16 we have been struggling to keep our project alive.
Initially we could continue supporting our community, and helped with free face-masks, food bags and medical distribution, and we also contributed to a new oxygen generator in Iquitos.
The time went by, and we hoped to see the Peruvian borders to open sooner to  be able to continue our work.
Instead Peru became the most affected country by Covid-19, and has today both the highest death rate per 100,000 and one of the strictest lockdowns in the world.
The borders was supposed to open in August, but in late July the government extended the emergency state for yet another month, and on August 28, the Peruvian government extended again to September 30th, and the health emergency to December 7.
The borders remain closed until further notice.

This has put us in a very difficult situation. Our families, community and project have lost all financial contributions due to the covid-19 and today we ask for your support.

We don't have a specific goal of funds we need to receive, but any donation would mean a lot to our community.
We will use the donations for maintaining costs and support the Peruvian families working with us, and also help the local community who have all lost all financial incomes and are struggling in these challenging times.

Our forever gratefulness to all of you that believe in us.
