Hi! My name is Kylee and I am planning to volunteer in Tanzania next fall. The organization I am going with is called The International Volunteer Headquarters (IVHQ). They help bring more than 90 nationalities together to create positive evolution through educational & regenerative travel. As a volunteer, my responsibilities would include working alongside local staff to teach the English language and care for the children. I would also be helping with the daily running of the daycare center as well as giving one-on-one attention and support to the children in need. I know this will be challenging and a definite culture shock but also incredibly rewarding!

All of the funds will go to helping cover expenses for my trip. Any additional funds raised will go to the Tanzanian community (donations of clothes, school supplies, hygiene products, etc.) I am hopeful to reach my goal and be privileged to travel abroad & achieve this lifelong dream of going to Africa to expand my expertise in childcare and experience in other cultures.
