<div>What Kurt thought was just another migraine quickly turned into something terrifying: blurry vision, garbled speech, and confusion. Thanks to Amber’s insistence, they rushed to the hospital, only to receive news no family ever expects: Kurt had suffered a stroke on the left side of his brain.

<div>In an instant, their world was turned upside down. Kurt, who has always been the rock of his family, is now facing the long, difficult journey of rehabilitation—speech therapy, physical therapy, and ongoing medical treatments. He is unable to work, and for someone who has always prided himself on his independence and providing for his family, this has been devastating emotionally as well as physically.
