Support Kristie & Sam during medical leave
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jenelle Taylor and I have set up this Go Fund Me to support my sister Kristie and her son, Sam.
After pushing herself beyond her threshold and struggling with accumulating medical issues since October, Kristie will remain on medical leave from her job as an ER nurse at Dartmouth General Hospital indefinitely.
Her savings and sick bank have depleted. It will be 6-8 weeks until any benefits or Employment Insurance become available.
I am asking for help in supporting Kristie & Sam through this time. Donations will be used for rent, bills, Blue Cross and groceries over the next two months to Bridge the gap.
At a time when rent and cost of living in general have become overwhelming, financial stress makes it very difficult to focus on getting well.
Sam is a light in her life and she is looking forward to getting back to a clean bill of health to be the best mom possible. Any & all support would mean so much at this time.
Kristie has dedicated 18 years of her life to taking care of others. She is a caregiver to her core.
“To do what nobody else will do, in a way that nobody else can, in spite of all we go through; is to be a nurse.” - Rawsi Williams
Let’s not forget that the ones who take care of us are sometimes the patient. A patient who deserves the same amount of compassion & care that she has shown to so many.
