Hi, my name is MaryGrace, and I am raising funds for my best friend, Krista Brewton. In December of 2022, she was diagnosed with gastroparesis which is a disease in which your stomach is partially paralyzed and doesn't process nutrition properly. Due to this disease, she has had many struggles with her health and in every aspect of her life. Krista has jumped through every hoop available to help her daily functionality, however, nothing has helped to get her back to a normal life. Her doctor has recommended a surgery that her insurance is refusing to cover, even though it is medically necessary and could potentially help her gastroparesis indefinitely. It has even proven to cure gastroparesis in some cases.

I am raising these funds to help Krista and her family with the financial strain of this procedure. For the last nine years, Krista and I have been closer than sisters. We've done everything together from work, to church, to being each others' maid of honor. She came into my life at a time when I felt most alone and now I want to help her when she is at her lowest.
