Tax deductible
Komi's story as a rescue dog started when her owner started having trouble walking, and her family asked their vet to euthanize Komi to remove her as a tripping hazard. Luckily, the vet refused and brought this little love bug to Heartt Animal Refuge. She has quickly warmed up to all of our volunteers and always wants to snuggle—both with humans and some of our resident cats.
Komi was ready to start her life over with a new family when we discovered a problem—she has degenerative cataracts in both eyes that need surgery. This is outside our shelter budget—especially as we are dealing with a high influx of animals, especially senior animals requiring more care.
Please help us fund Komi's surgery to retain her sight and help us find this little angel her true forever home
