My name is Kimberly Male and earlier this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. After several surgeries, the last ending in a single mastectomy, I am on the mend physically. I am blessed that this was found early and I have not had to do chemotherapy. Radiation was an option and still is, but for the time being, I am on hormone blockers.

However, although my insurance company has been great with what they have covered, it still leaves me with deductibles galore! So, I owe several thousand dollars for co-pays at office visits (lots of those), hospital items, surgery items, radiologists, travel expenses, and more that I'm having a difficult time paying.

Cancer is not something one ever thinks will happen, and so when it does happen, it is a total shock and truly changes everything about you. Cancer is the physical part of it, but then the mental and financial aspect of it can be even worse.

I'm asking for your help in this journey I have found myself in.
