<div>Kim Lincoln is my dear friend who is an accomplished teacher and healer in Olympia, WA. She worked at my healing arts center, Fusion, for many years and recently relocated to Tucson, AZ due to the health challenges that can often affect folks who live in wet and rainy places. On Sunday July 28, Kim was on her way back to Olympia for a month of teaching classes, mentoring students and doing sessions, when she was involved in a terrible car accident. She describes pulling 20 ft into a rest area, and napping in the car after a long drive. A semi truck suddenly went out of control, hitting a pick up truck and causing it to catapult right into Kim’s car, totaling both his and Kim’s vehicles. Kim sustained multiple injuries and was released from the hospital a day later, thank goodness, and is here with me in Berkeley until she can safely return to Tucson with her son to care for her. She is quite swollen and bruised in her face, is unable to walk safely without assistance, and can be confused and have difficulty with finding words, and sequencing her movements in tasks. These are symptoms of severe head trauma/concussion, and she will heal from this in time.

<div>Kim will be unable to work for at least the next 2-3 months, though this is an uncertain estimate, and I am reaching out to those who might contribute to helping her make ends meet during this time. My goal is for Kim to be able to use these funds for all expenses over these months. If you know Kim and would like to reach out to her directly, please know that because she sustained a severe concussion, it would be best to wait a few weeks at least, as she needs to keep technology to a minimum. If you are one of her students, teachers, or within her school community and have already contributed to the Go Fund Me associated with that, thank you for that, please don’t feel you need to do more, you are appreciated. We are widening the web here, in creating two separate funding reach-outs, to include others. Please send this link to anyone you may feel inclined to include to help this loving, generous, skilled, rare individual. We can look at it this way: even if you don’t know Kim, if you help her today, perhaps because of your help, she will one day help you with her profound healing wisdom.
