Support Kids in Kibera, Kenya

Donation protected
During a brief visit to Nairobi in late September, I had the special opportunity to visit Kibera, widely known as the densest slum in Africa and the second largest in the world (with an est. population of 1.5 million residents). We spent the morning at Seed School Kibera meeting with the incredible teachers and children who, despite facing unimaginable challenges, were full of hope and potential.

The school serves as a safe place for ~150+ students, providing two meals daily in addition to schooling. The children and teachers are doing everything they can to create a brighter future, but continue to face overwhelming obstacles: a lack of sanitary infrastructure, food shortages, overcrowded classrooms, and limited resources. We learned that the teachers lack a stable income due to funding constraints, often working for no/limited pay, driven solely by their dedication to the kids.

With your help, we can support Seed School Kibera with the following:
- Clean water and proper sanitation to protect children from disease
- Food and nutrition so they can focus on learning, not hunger
- School supplies and educational materials to create a better learning environment
- Support for teachers, who are the lifeline for these children, ensuring that they can continue their crucial work

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
