Hi everyone,

My name is Barsha Subedi, who is currently residing in Melbourne,Australia for past 11 years. On December 29, 2024, my father, Khem Raj Subedi, who had traveled from Nepal to visit my brother in the U.S., was involved in a serious accident while crossing the road at a designated crosswalk with my nephew (4year old), he was struck by a car. This impact left him with multiple severe fractures of his spine, ribs, hands, and legs.

He was rushed to a nearby trauma hospital and has been stabilized, but his journey to recovery has just begun. The road ahead is long, uncertain, and tough.

Through it all, Me and my family have not left his side. We are doing everything in our power to support our beloved father, ensuring he gets the medical care he desperately needs. But the reality of the situation is daunting—with no insurance coverage, every hospital bill, every procedure, every moment of care must be paid out of pocket. On top of the mounting medical expenses, We have had to take time off work to care for him, adding to the financial strain.
