Hi, my name is Keyana, and I’m reaching out in the middle of one of the most difficult and frightening times of my life.

For the past two months, I’ve been battling a painful medical condition called cricopharyngeal spasm, which prevents me from swallowing properly. I haven’t been able to eat solid food in two months, and even drinking water is a struggle. To make things worse, I’m also fighting a severe bacterial infection.

I’m currently hospitalized in London, where doctors have recommended an urgent procedure to paralyze my esophagus muscles — without it, I can’t begin to heal, regain strength, or live a normal life again.

Because this crisis happened abroad, I don’t qualify for insurance here. The cost of the procedure and hospital stay is overwhelming, and I’ve exhausted all other resources.
