<div>Hello, my name is JoHannah Alpaugh and I’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes to help my father, <strong>Kevin Alpaugh Sr</strong>, get to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion in order to prolong his life.

<div>The background of my dad battling cancer is unfortunately a very long road. He was diagnosed in 2012 with Plasmacytoma/multiple myeloma and has been battling this monster ever since. He has gone through so many surgeries, transplants, radiation, chemo, and everything in between. Unfortunately, he’s been having some life-altering side effects from his chemo that put him in a coma (which he was thankfully was able to wake and recover to the best of his ability) and created lifelong brain injuries.

<div>At my father’s last oncology appointment, he and his wife, Stacey, were told he needed to start chemo again. When asked what they planned on doing to protect his brain and treat the cancer, the doctor shrugged his shoulders. <strong>THIS IS NOT AN ANSWER WE ARE SETTLING FOR.</strong> My dad and Stacey will be traveling to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to hopefully get an answer that can prolong my dad’s life longer as this is essentially our last hope.

<div>Unfortunately, with the cost of traveling to Arizona, a rental car for them to get to the appointments for the time they will be there, and also lodging, it is a lot for my father’s fixed income and Stacey’s as a disabled veteran as well. <strong>I am looking to try to ease the cost of all this so we can hopefully get some answers and have my dad here as long as possible.</strong>
