Support Kevin @ TechShowdown

Kevin is in hospital in Taiwan in a critical condition and it’s not looking good. He went to Mackay memorial hospital on Thursday at 3am and has been put into a medically induced coma.

He's currently in critical state and has multiple organ failure including liver failure, kidney failure and respiratory failure. The doctors are working hard to find out what’s causing it, they believe it’s a bacterial infection causing inflammation which has resulted in multiple organ failures.

What bacteria it is, they are uncertain and have passed his blood samples onto the Taiwan CDC for investigation and cultures. He’s currently unresponsive because of the coma and the doctors have given us the information that the prognosis is not good, but everyone’s working hard to keep positive vibes around here.

Kevin is a fighter and there’s family and friends constantly by his bedside. The family is dealing with growing hospital bills, so if you'd like to pitch in and help alleviate the financial strain so they can focus on supporting Kevin, it would be greatly appreciated.
