<div>I am writing this on behalf of my cousin, <strong>Kevin Houser</strong>. Kevin is currently hospitalized in the Select Specialty unit located at the Bristol Regional Medical Center campus. Kevin's last day at work was May 8, 2025, and he was hospitalized on May 14, 2025. Expectations were that Kevin was expected to have a second leg amputated, only for it to be determined that he has a mass on his right kidney and has suffered blood loss internally.

<div>Kevin has been dealing most recently with symptoms related to diabetes, Buerger's Disease, and now kidney cancer while trying to continue work at West Ridge High School as their janitor. Most would have already simply quit work at this point, but doctors have now explained the need to restrict working on his one remaining leg and foot as they continue to treat the tissue damage on his right foot and plan for future treatment regarding his right kidney.

<div>We are working to raise funds that will allow him to cover his rent and utilities as doctors plan to address the mass on his kidney prior to any future discussion of amputation. <strong>If you are able to assist Kevin during this time, I know his family would be grateful.</strong>
