On the afternoon of 2/4/2026, our friend Kevin Surbrook lost everything in a devastating house fire—his home, all of his belongings, and tragically, his two beloved dogs. Thankfully, Kevin made it out safely, but he is now left with nothing and no homeowners insurance to help him rebuild his life.

Kevin is one of those people who would give you the shirt off his back. He’s kind, hardworking, loyal, and has been a great friend to many for decades. I’ve personally known him for over 38 years, and he has always been someone you could count on.

Right now, Kevin needs our help more than ever. This GoFundMe was created by his friend Jerry Cox to support him as he finds a place to stay, replaces basic necessities, and begins the long process of starting over.

No amount is too small. Whether it’s $10, $50, or simply sharing this page, every bit helps. Please keep Kevin in your thoughts, and thank you for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
