Friday night one of our cats knocked off the dresser a bottle of Tylenol. Kenzie managed to get the bottle open and I don't know how many she ate but now her liver is failing. As of last night her liver enzymes were 3700 and they should be less then 700. We have exhausted our financial resources for more care. Between Saturday and tonight we have spent upwards of $5,000 and she needs to stay a few more days to get the help she needs. I am totally embarrassed asking for help but we're not ready to say goodbye. If you don't want to donate here you can donate directly to Portland veterinary emergency and specialty care or you can send via venmo to @jason-ward-359. Any money that's left over will be donated to a nonprofit animal shelter. Thank you all very much.
2/26 update
Kenzie's liver levels have dropped from 3700 to 2400. She will have to stay for a couple nights to get the levels down more with plenty of fluids and medication. The cost per day is 1,700. Thank you all for the support.
