<div>On June 4th, Ken Zarifis was in a car accident that sent him to the Emergency Room under critical condition, since then he has had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his face the right side of his face and body. Currently he is in the Intensive Care Unit, where he is recovering and under the care of nurses and doctors.

Whether it be fighting for the rights and wellbeing of teachers and workers in AISD, to the kids he taught as a middle school teacher that still fondly remember him, Ken has always had a big heart and has made a consistent effort to do the right thing.
