<div>In August, Kelly went to his GP after a few weeks of persistent headaches. He was

<div>referred for a CT scan which identified a large lesion on his brain. After 2 ambulance
</div>
<div>rides and an MRI, doctors confirmed a mandarin-sized tumour on his right temporal
</div>
<div>lobe. Kelly was in surgery 3 days later to remove most of the tumour, subsequent
</div>
<div>testing confirmed everyone's worst fears, Kelly has terminal brain cancer (grade 4
</div>
<div>glioblastoma). The neurosurgeons advised that the average life expectancy for this
</div>
<div>disease is between 3 months and 2 years.
</div>

<div>Kelly is 49 years old, happily married with 2 beautiful children. He has always been
</div>
<div>active, fit and healthy, which shows how random this disease is and how it can affect
</div>
<div>anyone. He is 3 weeks into his radiation and chemotherapy, and suffering severe vision
</div>
<div>and memory impairment as a result.

<div>While trying to process the reality of the diagnosis, they are exploring complementary
</div>
<div>treatments and clinical trials, (including MRNA, CART T, immunotherapy etc.), which
</div>
<div>may extend the time Kelly has with his loved ones, or better yet - find a cure.

<div>If Kelly can get another 5 years with his loved ones, he said that would be amazing. I
</div>
<div>know it’s strange for someone so young to wish for a few short years, but that's the sad
</div>
<div>reality. 
</div>

<div>In support of Kelly and his family, we are hoping to reach a target of $250000, which will
</div>
<div>go towards the costs of any trials he qualifies for and help provide some financial
</div>
<div>security for Casey and the kids. Your donation will not only improve the chances for

<div>Kelly to spend more time with his loved ones, but it might help to find a cure, and help
</div>
<div>future sufferers of this horrible disease.
