<div>Hi all, we have 24 dogs that have come from bad places, some special needs, many requiring expensive surgeries and in the space of the last week we rescued  2 dogs we have no room for. June, a stray skinny dog that we literally drove by who had been hit by car and had serious wounds. She was at Gulf Coast Vet Specialists (Houston) intensive care for 5 days, got to come home for 2, and is back in hospital. We also have been driving by a caged pitbull living in deplorable conditions - long story short the owner sold her to us today for $750.. it was supposed to be $400 but when we got there he wouldn’t sell her unless we paid him $750.  We have had $15,000 in dog medical this year we are paying off, and we are still paying off credit card medical payments (Joey the pup with parvo, sepsis, necrosis who spent a week in the ER and then had a stomach obstruction), Doug, Sissy, Daisy Mae, Hoagie, Nora, June and Harley are all pretty new additions. Spaying , neutering, feeding… costs a fortune and we have been doing this on our own for many years.  When we moved to the country in 2021 with 14 of our rescue dogs who came from horrible backgrounds, we weren’t counting on another 14 dogs just a few years - all having suffered, many needing expensive surgeries, having special needs from sickness or injuries (many life long like our megaesophagus dog Gracie who was left for dead on the freeway).  This was an older GoFundMe me but with the recent additions and June’s huge expenses (and future expenses ) and the beautiful pitbull we rescued today we sure would appreciate any help! One of these days I will update the GoFundMe me to just address one dog at time ,but be patient with us.. we are taking care of 24 dogs and working our day jobs from home. It’s a madhouse!

Since our inception, we've funded everything ourselves, using every resource at our disposal, from credit cards, savings to retirement funds. We've tackled enormous bills from 3 huge critical care cases we've taken on (and are still paying off), and now we're facing a $7,000 surgery for Elly, a black pit bull in desperate need of leg surgery.
