Support Keira's future without her parents

Orphaned on Tuesday 5 October 2021, seven-year-old Keira lost her beautiful mum Kelly to an aggressive cancer, following her dad Teddy’s (Andrew) passing in 2018 from Motor Neurone Disease. Kelly fought so hard for just over a year and had everything to live for. She was the most caring, generous, positive and fun person with an insatiable zest for life and adventure. I didn’t know Teddy but Kelly described him as being the most incredible man, husband and father and everything to her and Keira.

From what was once the perfect little family with big hopes and dreams, and endless potential remains the sweet, courageous, bright and positive Keira (think Poppy from the movie Trolls) backed by the foundation of endless love of her parents.

This remarkable little girl is keeping all the big people around her going with her positivity and bubbly personality. Keira will live with her grandma who loves her dearly but would greatly benefit from any assistance that people are able to offer for raising Keira and supporting her future.

Times are tough at the moment for so many people so anything that you are able to spare would be greatly appreciated. Let’s play a part in ensuring that this little girl who brightens up the lives of those who know her is well supported. Thank you.

Required information: My name is Jackie Easther and I am a family friend of Kelly and Keira. All funds raised through Go Fund Me will be placed into a trust account in Keira’s name which can be accessed by Keira’s grandma for ongoing expenses related to raising Keira, and for Keira to access any remaining funds for expenses that many people would rely on the support of their parents for (when she is old enough to access the account). Once the legalities are sorted the beneficiary will be added to the account to enable withdrawals.
