February 2, 2026: Keely Family Farms needs help with legal fees.  Keely Family Farms previously circulated a petition for help when its business was devasted following a Florida Department of Health press release. The DOH suggested that the farm was responsible for illnesses, without ever visiting the farm. Many of you helped the farm feed and care for its animals though the business could no longer profit. Yet the farm needs additional help.
 Relying on the Department of Health Press Release, Keely Family Farms was also sued by a plaintiff alleging illness, claiming that the Press Release indicated that Keely Family Farms was responsible for local illnesses. The lawsuit was served on the farm at the last possible moment that it could be served without the matter being dismissed.
 Now Keely Family Farms is facing additional expenses as it will need to compensate an attorney for representation. Litigation can be lengthy and expensive, and Keely Family Farms needs your help.
 The Department of Health did not visit the farm. It did not pursue any violations against the farm for any alleged misconduct. Yet it issued a Press Release that devastated the farm. A plaintiff is trying to rely on this Press Release to seek monetary damages from Keely Family Farms. The farm again needs help in fighting back against allegations that can further devastate the farm and the family.
