Help Kayleigh & her children with grief & Cancer

Donation protected

In 2016 Kayleigh suddenly lost her partner of 14yrs, leaving her to bring up 2 young children on her own. 6mths after losing her fiance, Kayleigh found a lump, went to the doctors and was referred to the breast clinic. Kayleigh was only 30 years old when diagnosed with a large 8x10cm cancerous tumour in her left breast.
In 2017 chemotherapy treatment was offered, and was a success. In June 2018 she met & fell in love with a new man, sadly this would end in yet more heartbreak for Kayleigh. However, the relationship did give her a beautiful baby girl.
In November 2018 Kayleigh received an emergency call requesting her to go in that day to repeat a scan. This was due to the previous routine scan showing new thickening which looked like scar tissue, only there was no scar tissue.

In January 2019 Kayleigh had a lumpectomy which confirmed to be cancer and 2nd lot of treatment was started. March 2019 Kayleighs eggs were frozen because her treatment would cause infertility. She commenced radiotherapy in April, when treatment was finished, she was given the all clear again and we rung the victory against cancer bell. ... Kayleigh, her children and their new puppy could continue to rebuild their life.

In August, against all the odds, Kayleigh fell pregnant with her little baby girl. At this time Kayleigh was free of cancer and starting treatment to induce menopause. This was because her cancer grew from hormones. She had baffled the medical professionals and stood strong whilst doing it. She brought into the world, her miracle baby girl.

Unbelievably Kayleigh had to undergo more chemotherapy, more surgery & more radiotherapy because last year in 2020 she was found again to have cancer for the third time. Again it was breast cancer but it had mutated into skin cancer & into a ‘fungating tumour’ this very young mother of 3 young children is now receiving palliative care. She has lymph tumours in her neck & head. She is in constant pain, she tires easily & obviously she is worried about her family.

She knows that the ‘fungating’ tumour has attached to major arteries & cannot be operated on.

This amazing mother is now only 34 years old.

Like everything in life, care costs, travel expenses, & the cost of alternative therapies. She worries about how her family will manage to cope as things get tougher, how will they manage after she’s gone? They’ll still need care, support, & advice possibly for many years, the 2 older children, having already lost their dad at 10 & 4 now have to suffer the heartache of losing their mother, they're 14 & 8. Whilst their sweet baby sister may never remember her mummy.

Any donations will be gratefully received to help Kayleigh seek alternative therapies/treatment, to stay as comfortable & here for her children for as long as possible. And to provide financial support to her 3 children...
