Kayla Ridgeway is an elementary teacher who is constantly giving to others and going out of her way to support those around her. She’s the kind of person who never hesitates to lend a hand, and her kindness has touched so many lives in our community. Unfortunately, Kayla has been facing ongoing medical issues that have required her to use all of her sick days for the year. As teachers are given very few sick days, this has put her and Travis in a difficult position, especially as the holiday season approaches.

 Kayla’s medical journey isn’t over yet—she has several labs and tests scheduled to help determine what’s going on with her health. These necessary procedures are adding up quickly, and the costs will continue into the new year, when her health insurance deductible will restart. The financial stress of mounting medical bills is overwhelming, and Kayla and Travis could use our support now more than ever.
