<div>On March 22, 2025, our dear Katy’s life was forever changed in an unimaginable way. She and the love of her life, Nathan, were viciously attacked in their home. In his final moments, Nathan showed incredible bravery, doing everything he could to protect Katy from harm. Tragically, he did not survive, and Katy was left fighting for her life and being rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

<div>Katy is one of the most loving, loyal and strong souls you could ever meet. Her sense of humor knows no bounds, she lights up every room she enters and has always been the person to lift others up in their hard times. Now, it is our turn to be a strong community for Katy.

<div>The road to recovery will be long and challenging—physically, emotionally, and financially. While Katy has already undergone multiple medical procedures, and there will be continued extensive rehabilitation and therapy, she has already proven her strength to want to persevere through recovery. Most of all, navigating the difficult mental health journey with extensive care that she will require. The last thing she should have to worry about right now is how to afford the ongoing care she desperately needs.
