Help me bring dental care to underserved communities with Healthcare International Reachout, Inc.

Every year, my boss, Dr. Jeffrey Harrison from Metro West Dental goes on one and sometimes two Dental Missions. Last year I was honored to go with him to Guatemala.

That trip was overwhelming rewarding, transformative and emotionally powerful. It reignited my passion for dentistry. Many tears of joy, awe and exhaustion were shed. And I was hooked.

This year, we were not sure that the mission would happen due to hurricane Melissa and its severe damage to JAMAICA. But it has all come together quite quickly and we are going. This mission, through HIRO in collaboration with the Bob Marley foundation, will be a dental medical and humanitarian effort.

Why I’m asking for support;

*Travel and lodging

* Supplies

* Program participation fees (yes, volunteering costs money)

*1 week of salary (time off is not paid)

* Vaccinations, and medications

* Transportation fees
