Katrina is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had—always ready to help, always putting others first. As a bartender, she’s known for her warmth and generosity, and she’s the first to reach out when someone needs support. Recently, Katrina suffered a complete accident that left her with a torn Achilles tendon. Now, she’s confined to a boot and crutches, relying on a scooter to get around. This injury has made it impossible for her to bartend, and without medical insurance, she faces the daunting challenge of paying for all her medical needs out of pocket. On top of that, Katrina might have to get surgery to repair her tendon, which will set her back even farther in her recovery and ability to work.

 Katrina and I hit it off quickly and have grown very close in a short amount of time—she truly means the world to me. I’m asking everyone who knows her to pay it forward and give her just a little peace of mind so she can recover a little bit easier. Katrina’s situation is especially tough because she’s used to being the one who helps others. She’s always there for her friends and community, never hesitating to give the shirt off her back to someone in need. Now, she needs our help. The funds raised will go directly toward Katrina’s daily living expenses and the bills she’s struggling to pay while she’s unable to work. This support will give her the breathing room she needs to focus on healing and finding remote work that she can do from home during her recovery.
