Support Katrina's Father's Stair Lift Repair

Hello! My name is Katrina Trout and I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds for the repair of my father’s stair lift. The stair lift was installed a bit over three years ago and is not operational at this time due to wiring issues and the need for new batteries. It is no longer under warranty either. The company out of Pittsburgh charges $500 just to come here, then the repair fees to get it operational.

• My father moved in with me in 2017 after my mother's passing and him being diagnosed with Leukemia. He needed help. He’s had multiple spinal surgeries, a recent heart surgery,  and is awaiting another neck/spinal surgery soon. Currently, he is admitted to Transitional Care again for pain management until he has a specialized scan and a follow-up with the surgeon to determine a surgical date.
  

I need to get the stair lift operational soon as he cannot climb stairs safely to enter nor exit our split-level home. I never ever ask for help but have exhausted everything from cancer fees to neurology appointments, travel, meds, specialized tests, and copays... now a hospital stay. I’m swallowing my pride to ask for help at this time. Any donations and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
