My name is Kerri Pierce and I am fundraising to help my sister with daily expenses while she waits for her disability to be approved. She has been diagnosed with recurrent stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to her lung. The disease has been diagnosed as treatable, but incurable. She will be undergoing treatment for the foreseeable future.

She, along with her husband and their cat, had to recently leave an unhealthy living environment. Her husband, Codye, was not working due to being a full-time caregiver to persons in said environment. He is actively looking for work and should be starting a job this week. Kati and Codye have housing until Thursday evening. They are extremely low on funds and have multiple doctor's appointments this week, and her oncology team is actively looking into grants she may qualify for. They are currently trying to get into an apartment but do not have rental history nor enough money for a deposit.
