<div>Our beloved Katie is facing a major hysterectomy surgery to repair pelvic floor issues and hernias that have caused her significant pain and greatly impacted her daily life. This complex procedure will require an overnight hospital stay and a long, delicate recovery at home.

<div>Katie and her husband Mike are raising their toddler Avery and have two older kids at home as well. While Mike will be working full time and caring for Avery when she’s not in daycare, Katie will be unable to work during recovery. This means their family is suddenly facing a 6–8 week (or longer) stretch without Katie’s income at a time when extra care, special food, and support will be most needed.
