<div>We were married in 2021, just as Joe was preparing to begin medical school. Not long after, we decided to grow our family. Our path quickly became more complicated than we expected as <strong>Katie was diagnosed with several conditions that made it difficult to begin a family naturally, including PCOS, endometriosis, and hypothyroidism.</strong>

<div>After years of doctor’s visits, medications, medical procedures, and countless prayers, we made the difficult decision to pause our efforts to grow our family naturally. After Joe’s med school graduation, we found ourselves in a quiet place of surrender. This is where we began to feel the Holy Spirit gently and consistently guiding our hearts toward adoption.
