<div>My name is Paula, a sister of <strong>Kathy West Williams</strong>. We are seeking assistance to help Kathy financially with her battle against multiple illnesses. Kathy is a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, friend, and a cherished member of the Davis County community. Kathy is facing overwhelming medical challenges. Despite her incredible strength and spirit, the cumulative effect of her diagnoses has created an immense financial and physical burden she cannot manage alone.

<div>Kathy has spent her life putting others' needs first, helping her kids, grandchildren, and being a friend to many. For those that know Kathy, know she is too proud to ask for help, so we are asking for her. Please donate any amount, no matter how small; it will make a difference in Kathy's quality of life.

<div>Kathy has been bravely fighting against multiple sclerosis (MS) for 17 years, which has severely impacted her mobility, also causing drop foot. A specialized wheelchair would help her be a little more independent. She falls frequently, which is next to impossible for her to get up on her own. While fighting this chronic illness, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had 6 months of chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments.

<div>Her journey through cancer treatment has been successful but has left her with significant and painful side effects that require immediate and ongoing specialized care. Due to her cancer treatment, she is experiencing severe and painful lymphedema throughout most of her body. This condition requires constant management, including specialized physical therapy 1 to 3 times a week, wearing compression garments, and manual lymphatic drainage. The intense chemotherapy regimen has caused severe and debilitating side effects to her teeth and gums, making it difficult to eat and causing significant pain. This essential restorative dental work is both complex and expensive.

<div>All of these treatments are not fully covered by insurance. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide Kathy with the resources she urgently needs to get a specialized wheelchair and pay for her dental work.
