I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Kathryn Bowman, a dedicated mother who is currently in a challenging custody battle for her two children. Since the separation from her husband, Kat has been their primary caregiver, providing them with support and stability during what is an extremely difficult transition.

Recently, Kat made the tough decision to return back to Maryland to live with our parents, seeking the support of family as she navigates a painful divorce. However, a unexpected legal order now requires her to return to California, one of the most expensive regions in the country, where the case is being handled.

Amid escalating legal fees, Kat needs help covering the cost of relocation and housing while she is in California until she can secure stable employment. The financial burden is immense, especially without a steady income.
