Robert and Katherine Harvey were due to welcome their daughter into the world in early March. Katherine is a wonderful mother and a proud public school teacher. Recently, right before her maternity leave, her district denied renewing her contract and she was laid off. 2 days later she went into early labor, and when they arrived at the hospital, received the worst news of any parent's life. Their daughter's umbilical cord had wrapped around her neck, suffocating the baby. There was nothing anyone could do and she did not survive. On top of losing her career of several years, Katherine had to deliver her full-term stillborn baby girl and now has to bury her. What was supposed to be one of the happiest moments of their lives has turned into the worst tragedy and they now have to worry about covering expenses instead. We are raising money to help them cover medical, funeral, and to allow Katherine a little bit of time to physically recover and emotionally heal while she looks for new employment.

While there's nothing anyone can do to take away this unimaginable pain, their friends and family would like to try to take one less thing off of their plates while they try and piece their life back together. Any small donation would go a very long way for this family.
