<div><strong>Karrah Glenn East is a loving and devoted wife to Calli East, an incredible mother of their 14-year-old son Blayne, a kind daughter, a protective sister, and a caring friend. Karrah is also in the fight of her life as she battles stage 4b cervical cancer.</strong> This is Karrah's third battle with cancer since 2018, and the toughest one yet. Karrah, along with her wife, travel to MD Anderson in Houston, TX for her cancer treatments and medical needs. Karrah has been through radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This third battle she has tried 5 different cancer fighting agents and recently received the news that despite great efforts, the cancer is spreading and there are no more treatments for her, she was sent home with hospice information. For the time being, Karrah will still need medical care from MD Anderson for pain management and also she has a right sided nephrostomy tube (a tube through her back into her kidney for urine to collect in a bag because her urine cannot pass from her kidney to her bladder because the cancer is blocking jt) which will need care and exchanging every 2 months.

<div><strong>Our goal is to help ease the strain this takes on Karrah and her family. Travel expenses and time off of work, for Karrah's wife to be by her side, add up very quickly, as well as the cost of treatment and procedures and hospitalizations. As you all can imagine, cancer treatment is far from low cost and choosing out of state health care makes the medical bills and obligations that much steeper.</strong> Our last statement from MD Anderson was over $20k and did not include the past couple of months of care with an admitted stay in the hospital. Karrah is also seeking alternative treatments, more natural and homeopathic treatments such as high dose vitamin c infusions, hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments, natural supplements; all of which insurance does not cover. We invite you to join us in raising funds for Karrah's medical bills past and future (there is a long road ahead for this family), travel expenses, as well as at home costs that may be in need while trying to navigate this difficult time.

<div>Karrah is the type of person who you always want in your corner, she is the most loyal of friends. Karrah is the type of person who keeps cat food in her truck to be able to feed any stray cats she may pass along her way (usually at gas stations). Her heart truly is pure. On weekends you will find Karrah on the sidelines of Blayne's baseball games, no matter how she is feeling or what she is going through. She's put her own body through more by doubling her radiation just to be able to attend the tail end of his world series tournament. Karrah finds a way to put on a smile even on her worst of days. Through everything, she has remained selfless and tries to consider others before herself. She is stubborn and strong-willed, but in the best way. She stands for what she believes in and for those she loves.
