Hello, my name is Karmen. I am going to be completely transparent with the intention not to cause harm. I have spent the last decade serving my community in the Human Services field. I got extremely sick and tried to work as long as I could to continue to serve the community I love and grew up in. I became to sick, I had to leave a job that I loved due to me being ill. Life has been a struggle, but a blessing at the same time, if that makes sense. I am thankful for a second chance at life. I push forward everyday in this uncertain world we all live in. Thankfully, I had a retirement plan that carried me through for a little over half of the year, what a blessing. I have not been able to find sustainable employment, so I am reaching out for help. I cook and I have sold plates to get by. My dream is to have my own food truck, this would create stability and income now and in the future.
