Help Karl Navigate His MS Diagnosis

Our friend Karl is facing a major life challenge, and we’re reaching out to ask for support as he finds his footing in this unexpected new reality.

Karl was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic and often disabling disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. The diagnosis has come with a lot of uncertainty — not just about his health, but also his ability to support himself.

Karl is someone who takes real pride in his work. He’s always been dependable, focused, and hardworking — showing up fully for his job and the people in his life. But right now, he’s unable to work as he waits to see a specialist — a process that’s proven slow and difficult, especially as he’s about to lose his health insurance after recently having to stop working.

While he’s in the process of applying for disability and looking for ways to access care, Karl needs help covering essentials: rent, food, and medical expenses. This is where community can make a real difference.
