<div><strong>Karleigh has been diagnosed with a Type 4A choledochal cyst in her bile duct.</strong> Next week, she will undergo surgery to have her bile duct rebuilt and her gallbladder removed. Later down the road, she will also need a liver transplant. She’s 3 years old and an ABSOLUTE DOLL of a little girl.

<div>This is a very rare condition, and the hospital is flying in a specialist surgeon from Switzerland to engage in this surgery and another specialist to oversee the surgery should the child need the liver transplant right away during the surgery.
