As someone who has taught alongside Kamran and co-facilitated our Bella Prana yoga retreat with him, I have witnessed firsthand the care, wisdom, and support he brings to every class and gathering. His presence has been a source of inspiration and healing for so many of us.

<div>Recently, Kamran suffered a serious injury. He broke his collar bone and required surgery. This unexpected event has left him unable to teach yoga, which is his primary source of income. The road to recovery will take time, and during this period, Kamran will be unable to work and support himself as he normally would. The financial strain of medical bills and everyday living expenses can be overwhelming, especially when paired with the physical and emotional challenges of healing.

<div>As fellow teachers, students, and practitioners, we know that yoga is more than just what happens on the mat. It’s about community, compassion, and showing up for one another in times of need. This fundraiser is an opportunity for us to practice <strong>Seva—selfless service</strong>—by supporting Kamran as he has supported so many of us. Although Kamran did not ask for this fundraiser to be created, he is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from friends, family, students, and the community. Accepting help does not come naturally to him, which makes this gesture all the more meaningful.
