J’Von is a rising senior at KIPP Atlanta, a top-performing student, Senior Chief of the SGA and a member of the Principle’s List. <div>J’Von sustained multiple bullet wounds and suffered extensive injuries to his hand and leg. The crossbody bag he was carrying across his chest stopped the bullet that could have taken his life. He will require surgery for his hand within the next few days and has already undergone multiple surgeries on his leg. His care team has told his family that he will be hospitalized for weeks while they stabilize his injuries and he begins his healing journey.

<div>As J’Von focuses on healing, his mother remains by his side, unable to work while caring for her son. We are asking family, friends and the broader community to come together and help ease the financial burden placed on a single mother by this tragedy. Your donation will help support medical and recovery-related expenses, transportation, lost income, and other unforeseen needs during this difficult time. Every gift, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping J’Von and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for helping us surround J’Von with the love and support he needs on his road to recovery. ❤️ #JvonStrong
