Support Justine Telles

Justine has always been a hardworking woman on the move. She is the oldest of 5 siblings, has been a life-long athlete, and community member. She began playing soccer at the age of five. Justine played throughout her educational career, beginning at St. Paul High School and then went on to play at Cal State LA University. She has held manager positions and began a new job at Frito Lay at the beginning of 2019.

On February 25, 2019 Justine woke up and got ready for work like any other day. By the end of that day she was admitted to the hospital because she was severely anemic. Four days later, Justine was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Within 4 days, her life was changed forever.

Justine is now receiving treatment at City of Hope Hospital, where she is staying so that doctors can best treat and support her. Since her treatment began, she has responded well to the medication and it is doing everything it should be. The doctors say, as of now, her blood has no leukemia cells in it!

Justine has been sharing her journey with us at her Caring Bridge website. Here you can read through her progress and leave her words of support and love.

Prayers, thoughts, and kind words are always welcome, however we are asking that you give whatever you can to provide Justine and her family with some financial support. Thank you in advance!
