<div>We’re a new <strong>UK-based grassroots foundation</strong> that <strong>supports women on their healing journeys after experiencing gender-based violence (GBV).</strong>

<div>We exist to create soft, intentional spaces where women can reconnect with their stories, themselves, and each other without any judgment or pressure. As <strong>an organisation run by women <em>for  </em>women</strong>, we know how important it is to have access to safe spaces and healing resources. Just A Girl(hood) is our way of building what we once needed and what we believe every women deserves.

<div>Our spaces are strictly for women only, inclusive of all women, cis and trans, and are especially aimed at women aged 18 to 30.

<div><strong>What We’re Fundraising For.</strong>
</div>
<div>We want to run events and workshops that <em>actually</em> support women through healing. That includes things like:

<div>⟡ Gentle community events (like yoga or picnics)
</div>
<div>⟡ Creative workshops (like painting or writing)
</div>
<div>⟡ Talks and seminars with guest speakers who’ve lived through similar experiences
</div>
<div>⟡ Meaningful resources and tools that are useful, not just nice to have
</div>

</div>
<div>⟡ Supplies and materials for our events, workshops and seminars

<div>⟡ Flyers, website hosting, and tools to reach the right people

<div>According to the <em>World Health Organization</em>, <strong>1 in 3 women globally have experienced GBV</strong>. But what often goes unspoken is how hard the aftermath is. Life after GBV can feel heavy and numb. <em>Just A Girl(hood)</em> is creating space for women to move through that at their own pace, in ways that feel safe and supportive. We provide access to tools, learning, and community so healing feels possible and not something you have to do alone.
