Junie is starting this fundraiser for their dad after a deeply upsetting experience. On October 5, 2026, at around 9:29, Junie’s dad was taken by ICE on campus while dropping Junie off. Junie is sharing this not only because their family needs help, but also to spread awareness about what happened. To Junie’s understanding, ICE agents were not permitted to be on campus. If you attend AHC, you may have seen the announcement about this incident, and Junie hopes people will take a moment to read it and stay informed. 
 
 
 Right now, the immediate need is help covering legal fees for an immigration lawyer for Junie’s dad. This support would help the family take the next steps and fight for him during an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Junie also wants the community to come forward together through this moment, not only to support their family now, but to help build broader support for others who may need help too. The focus of this fundraiser is still on getting Junie’s dad the legal support he needs, and any donation, share, or message of support means so much.
