Hello my name is Julio. My kidneys failed about 3 years ago stopping my life and starting my on my medical journey to get better and start dialysis. The diagnosis came with some tough changes in diet, activity and finical goals. Although i worked before i started dialysis i couldn't keep up with it with the three treatments a week so had to hop on disability but even with that the finical burden of coming up with over 5k was made impossible when social security didn't kick in for over a year on dialysis. I've moved and the doctors really want me to be out of this predicament and some finical help could make it so i can continue on and hopefully become a productive member of society again. I love cooking since i started dialysis and i love watching and playing sports although playing now is an dangerous endeavor. Running is probably the thing i miss the most and look forward to getting back into. Any help will be appreciated and i only plan to use this money FOR TRANSPLANT EXPENSES ( which would really be food and lodging for me and my support person since I will be incapable of doing anything for a good period after). Recovery will be hard but hopefully with everyone's help it can be a possibility since these last 3 years I have failed pretty miserablely
