<div>Our dad, Julio Garcia, was recently hospitalized and has been diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer on January 26, 2026. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down and has been a very hard time for us as a family.  Our dad is the heart of our family — our protector, our encourager, our constant source of strength. He has always been the one to lift others up, to give without hesitation, and to put a smile on everyone’s face. even through this difficult time, he’s still managing to laugh and keep everyone’s spirits up.

<div>As he begins treatment, including doctor visits, procedures, and ongoing care, the financial burden has quickly become overwhelming. Because he was the main provider for our family, the financial pressure - Medical bills, medications, transportation to appointments, and time away from work - has become overwhelming on top of an already incredibly difficult time. Our family is doing everything we can to manage it, but we can’t do it alone.

<div>Nuestro padre, Julio García, fue hospitalizado recientemente y le han diagnosticado cáncer colorrectal en etapa 4. Este diagnóstico ha puesto nuestro mundo patas arriba y ha sido un momento muy difícil para nosotros como familia. Nuestro padre es el corazón de nuestra familia: nuestro protector, nuestro alentador, nuestra fuente constante de fuerza. Él siempre ha sido el que levanta a los demás, da sin dudarlo y pone una sonrisa en la cara de todos. Incluso en este momento difícil, todavía se las arregla para reír y mantener el ánimo de todos.
