<div>On Tuesday, January 31st, my nephew Richard Junior Diaz was in a tragic accident on his way home from work. He was traveling northbound on Monarch Boulevard about a mile and a half away Rock Canyon High School ending his work day.

<div>A driver in another car reached down for something in her car, swerved and lost control of her vehicle. The driver t-boned my nephew and his van flipped over. There were two other passengers who were severely injured. Both my nephew and the passengers were wearing seat belts but the impact was devastating.

<div>My nephew was trapped inside the van and ultimately had to get pulled out with the help of the fire department with the jaws of life. His left foot was unsalvageable due to severe injuries and had to get amputated.

<div>Our family is requesting that you keep my nephew Junior in your prayers during this difficult time as he has a long recovery ahead of him. My nephew is only 28 years old and his life has been completely changed by this horrific accident. We are asking that you please donate to help with the overwhelming amount of hospital bills and the new life adjustments he has to make as a result of his amputation. This is a tragedy that no one should have to endure and has changed Junior's life forever, just healing his body is going to be difficult and a long road let alone worrying about all of the expenses that come with this tragedy.
