<div>In November of 2024, Joy Suellentrop started experiencing back pain. After nearly a year of pain which started to increase in the summer of 2025, Joy ended up in the hospital on November 2, 2025 with debilitating back pain and high blood pressure. After a series of tests to find out what was causing the elevated blood pressure, a pocket of fluid was found on her kidney.

<div>Throughout the month of November, Joy has been in and out of the hospital still experiencing massive pain in her back. There are still issues with her kidneys that are being addressed, but nothing has eased the pain that brought her to the ER in the first place.

<div>As we know, our healthcare in the US is very expensive, even with the best insurance. Joy and Matt have both told me, “we can’t ask for money,” but I will! They have 2 small children to care for with Christmas right around the corner, this financial burden shouldn’t be added to the physical pain this family is experiencing.
