Jamaica needs your help! Jamaicans have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. My mother, Josinth Scott, and her community were in the eye of this catastrophic disaster.
Message from my mother, Josinth:
“My name is Josinth Scott and I am 85 years old. I live in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa destroyed my home and community. There is nothing left. In all my years, I have never faced such devastation.”
With a heavy heart, Josinth asks for your assistance for the Scott family and for her community to raise relief funds for basic humanitarian needs. The need is immense. Josinth urgently requires support to access necessities (food, water, clothing, and temporary shelter). She will need to rebuild her home from the ground up, all while surviving the aftermath of this disaster.
Your generosity can make an immediate difference. Every donation brings Josinth and her community one step closer to safety and stability.
Please consider donating or sharing to help recover and rebuild after this heartbreaking disaster.
My name is Donna Lee Grant from Totowa, New Jersey. EVERY CENT that is raised will go to Josinth and her community.
