Josie Parker is 35 and lives with her husband Ryan and 3 children ages 6, 2, &amp; 9 months on a farm outside of Aurelia, Ia. Josie is a School Teacher, and Ryan is a Farmer and Electrician, The Parker kids are farms kids to the fullest! The Parker family is like any other Farm Family, they are Christian, quick to help, and not know to ask for help outside of their own family... I'm creating this fundraiser with the hope to show Josie how far the power social media and kindness of strangers can go. <div>Josie is in the fight for her life battling cancer for a second time. Josie has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, Josie has lived with Ulcerative Colitis since high school, but no one imagined it would eventually turn into something more serious, At 29, After the birth of her first child is when the first cancer was detected, Josie fought successfully to beat this the first time, 6 years later at 35, after the birth of her last child is when doctors discovered cancer cells in her gull bladder and seemed to be spreading aggressively throughout her body. During the last 6 months or so with Doctor started Josie on Chemo therapy regimen, but Josie body reacted negatively and got extremely sick to the initial Chemo treatments halfway thru, causing treatment to be paused while Josie recovered, because of this pause Josie has to completely restart Chemo process as of June 6th. The recovery from the few Chemo treatments she has received has been rough on Josie and family, by not being able to see her youngest children daily with extended family members that live over 2hrs away watching the children, having many liters of fluid being drained almost daily from her lungs and or abdomen while she hospitalized at Mayo in Rochester, Mn, and when she does have a small win to return home, its short lived with another return trip to the ER or Mayo every few days. Josie has spent almost as much time or more in hospitals than at home during the months since this cancer reappeared.
