I’m raising funds for my son after years of serious heart complications. He was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease when he was 7, and that led to multiple aortic aneurysms. In April 2025, he underwent open heart surgery, but now one of the bypasses is narrowing and he will need more procedures soon. His next procedure is scheduled for the 28th of this month unless it is moved back. 
 
 
 This has become a life-long battle for him, and for our family it is heartbreaking and frightening. We are all scared. My son is so strong and tries to stay positive for us, but I know he is terrified. 
 
 
 The funds raised will help with the ongoing costs that keep coming with his care: travel expenses because his care team is in Boston, further treatment expenses, and help giving him a chance to live a little while his mother and I are barely making enough to cover our bills. Predictable support through recurring donations would help us manage these continuing travel and treatment costs over time, and one-time donations would also make a real difference as his next procedure approaches.
